Over the past years, our Company invested millions of dollars in computerised machines to automate our manufacturing processes. This enabled us to improve our production processes, significantly increase our production quantities and achieve consistent quality in our products.
Through the automation of our manufacturing processes, we are able to reduce labour costs and raw material wastage, thereby reducing manufacturing cost and increasing manufacturing efficiency and output.
We believe that keeping abreast of the latest technology in manufacturing is essential to our maintaining our competitive advantage.
We specialise in the manufacture, supply and installation of paneling products using the modular concepts and the wrapping method. As consumer tastes become increasingly discerning, we anticipate that demand will increase for wrapped products, in particular, veneer, that has a solid and natural wood feel but at a lower cost as compared to solid wooden products. As the wrapped method can be applied with different materials such as veneer, vinyl and foil, we are able to meet different clients' needs and expectations.
We constantly strive to improve our products and production methods and extend our product range to enhance our competitiveness. Our product development team travels to Europe and Asia to attend exhibitions and look out for new and innovative techniques in product development and design which we can use for and adapt to our products.
We place great emphasis in improving our product and service quality, which we believe is one of our key success factors. Hence, we have instituted strict quality management controls at all stages of our manufacturing process. In June 2000, we received the ISO9002 certification by Lloyds in respect of our Singapore operations at 23 Sungei Kadut Street 1, Singapore 729323 and subsequently received the certification for our new production facility at 8 Sungei Kadut Crescent, Singapore 728682 in July 2002.
Bernard Lim and Jeremy Koh are assisted by a team of senior executives, each of whom has many years of working experience, ranging between 10 and 22 years in their relevant fields of expertise.
We believe that the experience and knowledge of our management have been instrumental in our success. They will continue to lead and guide the Group in the business expansion with their wealth of experience and expertise.
We are a product specialist in the area of paneling and thermoformed products. We are able to provide a wide range of services to our clients, including product designs input, manufacturing and technical assistance and cost budgeting.
As a product specialist, we provide inputs at the product design stage, such as the suitable type of material to be used, the estimation of amount of materials and its costing.
To enhance our competitiveness, our management meets regularly to review the workflow and processes so as to improve the efficiency and productivity. In the last few years, we have gradually and consistently upgraded our manufacturing processes with the use of automation. This has enabled us to manufacture products of consistent quality, minimise wastages and reduce labour costs without compromising on quality.
In order to minimise storage area for raw materials and manufactured products, we adopted the just-in-time inventory policy, taking delivery of most of our raw materials just prior to the commencement of a project.
We also perform regular checks on our inventory control system to ensure that raw materials, work-in-progress and finished goods are accurately accounted for.
